The Challenge
At Lockheed Martin, my main focus was the internal communication of the business area and the experiences these various mediums provided. There was plenty of tools and solutions constantly being rolled out to assist teams and employees in accomplishing their goals and delivering products which helps organizations achieve their missions. The problem was that these various mediums provided a bad user experience, which resulted to a disconnect between the tools being introduced and employee awareness. To address this problem, I redesigned and developed the business areas intranet which serves over 30,000+ employees. The focus was to improve the experience and user journey to increase employee engagement and to make it easier for employees to meet their various goals. I also led the UX/UI research and designed solutions to address a lack of end user success rate of various processes, tools and apps which the company utilizes. I also worked with communications on marketing initiatives throughout my time at Lockheed Martin.
