The Challenge
Unknown to many, Africa has a bubbling tech scene with an abundance of developers and designers looking to fulfill the growing demand for affordable tech talent. As a vested partner in Africa's tech narrative and the ecosystem's growth, I was challenged by naya labs CEO to create a new distinct platform that promoted Africa's tech ecosystem and introduced it to a global audience.
Scaling a Brand
My approach was to create a highly engaging user experience while building a highly scalable platform. The development had to not only focus on scalability and ease of use but on speed as well due to the challenges faced across the African continent in terms of access to reliable internet connections. Along with creating a the visual branding and strategy of the company, I was also responsible for the design system for the brand. The theme of "Share, Unify, Thrive" was embedded through the entire brand, process and experience.
